Welcome to Salon M Newcastle.
Situated on St Marys Place, just above Bubble Cha, we offer a full range of hair and beauty services from amazing colours to the finest hot waxing in Newcastle. All of the therapists and stylist in Newcastle are self employed and will give you the most tentative care while you are with them.
The salon is owned by Kimberley Preece, who has over 20 years experience in the beauty industry. As well as being known as the “eyebrow queen”, Kimberley is also a hot wax specialist, especially for intimate areas. Since 2025 Kimberley has also been qualified in Nano blading and combination brows.
Whether you require an amazing hair service or the finest beauty treatments, we can accommodate your every need. At Salon M Newcastle we pride ourselves on our expertise in services and customer care. Our aim is for you to look forward to visiting us and leave feeling completely satisfied.

Kimberley has been working as a beauty therapist since 2003 and has been the owner of Salon M beauty since 2009. Affectionately referred to by her clients as the “eyebrow queen” of Newcastle Kimberley is fully qualified to the highest level in every aspect of her work. Kimberley’s qualifications and areas of expertise include HD Brows, Brow Lamination, Bronsun Dye, Microdermabrasion, Gel Bottle nails, Hot waxing, Tinting, Elim Luxury Pedicure, Elleebana Lash Lifts, plus much more. Kimberley’s professionalism and experience have ensured that she has built up a loyal clientele over the years, so to book with Kimberley we strongly recommend booking in advance. Sara started hairdressing in 2001 and has built up a vast amount of hairdressing knowledge. Fully qualified to NVQ level 3 Sara also has a city and guilds barbering qualification. With a wealth of experience and knowledge in colour Sara is also a Wella master colour expert which is the highest colour qualification available with Wella (the worlds number 1 supplier of permanent colour). There are only 3,900 stylists in the UK with this qualification, which makes up only 1% of current active stylists. Colour is her passion and she loves creating and re creating fresh new looks. Sara’s love of colour also propelled her to the regional finals of the exclusive Wella trend vision competition. Sara is fully qualified to handle any colour query and create the desired look for all occasions.
Sara is self employed and will deal direct with all clients with her own public liability insurance and card terminal. Book with Sara on the booking tab at the top of the home screen.

All the way from South Africa and Hairdressing since 2016, Alexis built up a huge clientele and instagram following back in her home city. Thankfully Alexis chose Newcastle as her destination to come to, and her very unique, quirky look and warm personality endears her to all of her clients (they also love her accent). Fully experienced in all hair services, Alexis is also trained with Wella colour. Also fully qualified in extensions, Alexis is very adept at fitting wefts and nanos. With a true love and passion for the industry, Alexis is a perfect fit for her clients.
